Entry-level roles require years of experience. Remote jobs are being offshored. And the rules of the game keep changing.
The dehumanizing part is the worst. You jump through hoop after hoop during the interview process only to get ghosted. Or worse, you get the job, uproot your life, and then the offer is rescinded before you even start. Zero accountability. And the market rewards this behavior. Stock prices go up after layoffs. CEOs walk away with golden parachutes.
The rest of us? Left to pick up the pieces.
